The students will learn how to manipulate their drawings into jaw-dropping, photo realistic three dimensional masterpieces!

Class Description

This course will introduce students to Anamorphic Art with a brief history of the mysteries surrounding it. Student’s will see examples of anamorphic art, created in the late 1500’s through the 1700’s, viewed through a tube of reflecting plastic. We will explore the secrets of vision and optical illusions in a variety of step-by-step instructions as we take drawing to a whole new level! The class will learn how perspective, value, and angles are sometimes twisted, contorted, and elongated in conjunction with highlights, shadows and color to create Anamorphic Art. The student’s will create 3-5 dynamic pieces of Anamorphic Art!

  1. Elevated Pencil
  2. Bird’s-Eye View of a City
  3. Glass of Water
  4. Floating Sphere and/or 
  5. Anamorphic Cavern

As well as, teaching 7 Art classes at a Private School, in West Hollywood, for 6-12 graders, in all mediums and subject matter.
