American Sign Language (ASL) Basics
ASL is a fun and physical way for kids to learn a foreign language! We will learn FUN and RELEVANT sentences like "My name is Kathy" and "Happy Mother's Day! I love you!"

American Sign Language is a beautiful, creative language that is perfect for your kinesthetic learner! In this class we will learn basic conversational vocabulary. In addition to learning the Manual Alphabet, we will learn colors, animals and family members. The students will learn simple sentences (such as “I like dogs” and “Pizza is my favorite food”) and conversational phrases so that by the end of the 4 weeks your student will have composed and can show you a short autobiography in ASL! (As a bonus, we will learn some special Mother’s Day phrases!)
