Health and Wellness for Teens

4-10 students Standard

This is not your everyday “food pyramid’ health class. In this class we will explore not only food choices and weight, but food choices and health; how your food choices can affect your mood, your brain health, your physical stamina, and your risk of certain diseases as you age. We will also be discussing healthy relationships, substance abuse, and sexual health/reproduction so that the students will have a well rounded foundation on which to base life decisions.
