Language Arts - Semester 2 *2X/Week
This is the second semester of a middle school level English/Language arts class which covers short literature, writing, poetry, general interest events, spelling, & grammar. California guidelines for content are followed for this class. This class meets two days a week class at 10:15 on Wednesdays and Thursdays.

This is the second semester of a middle school level English/Language arts class which covers short literature, writing, poetry, general interest events, spelling, & grammar. California guidelines for content are followed for this class. Homework is given and consists of assignments in spelling, grammar, reading comprehension, and writing. The homework component is not heavy, as we try to cover most topics in class. This class meets two days a week class at 10:15 on Wednesdays and Thursdays.
There is a $140 discount for each class for students who register in either 3 or 4 of the four "A-G' courses being offered by Heather Vargas - Algebra 1, Physics, Biology, & Language Arts.
Total cost per course is $560 ($20 per class)!

About Heather Vargas
Heather Vargas has 25 years experience in teaching, 19 of those homeschooling her 5 children. Two are in college now - the first is pursuing a degree in Global Studies/Peace and Conflict at UC Berkeley and the second is studying Political Science and Psychology at San Diego State, while the youngest ones are still homeschooled. Having attended UCLA for undergraduate and graduate school and earning a degree in molecular and cellular biology, science and math are a specialty. After many years of creating and teaching her own homeschool curriculum, she is able to supply and teach curriculum in all subjects.
