Class Description

Being able to easily and effectively write a basic 5-paragraph essay is an essential skill that all middle school, high school, and college students should have. Much of high school and college require essay writing. Knowing how to easily and effectively write an essay gives you an advantage and makes this part of school easier, allowing the student to focus on learning and researching topics.

This course provides a formula/framework to organize the essay and teaches the student to let the reader clearly understand what the paper is about. The ultimate point we strive to attain in writing is to be able to organize our thoughts and clearly write them on paper, with the thesis and supporting evidence clear. In addition, students will learn how to format the essay and cite sources. The student will be taken through the steps and will write their own research essay in this course.
