Where in the World is Nina Pasadena?

Join the Acme Spy Detective Agency on the hunt for super criminal mastermind Nina Pasadena and her gang of henchmen. Decode clues, examine witness accounts, and research leads on a chase that will take you through countries of the world, exploring exotic cultures and locations to track down the stolen loot and apprehend the criminals.

Class Description

Agents will use their Geography Textbook (see supply list) to chase Nina's gang through three contents, three countries, and three cities for each case you complete.


You will be given one Agent Special Assignment during the Semester (aka-a short research paper, and a fun drawing task to work on at home) about a specific country that is a henchman hide-out. You will present your Special Assignment in front of the Acme team (oral presentation)


Will we catch Nina Pasadena in the end? Join us to find out! This crime solving class is sure to be full of mystery and intrigue!

REQUIRED TEXT - This affordable student textbook must be obtained prior to the start of class, and is readily available used or new on many online websites: National Geographic Ultimate Globetrotting World Atlas


Students will need to have a access to a printer, to print weekly copies of an Agent Report sheet to complete during class. This pdf will be provided upon sign-up.

About Ani Janbazian

Ani Janbazian, a native Canadian, earned a BA in Arts Management from the University of Toronto. As an Educational Exhibit Designer at the London Regional Children’s Museum, and then as an Educational Interpreter at the Scarborough Historical Museum, she was trained to relay complex scientific concepts and historical facts to students using approachable hands-on methods to make a lasting impact.
