Hello everyone! My Name is Adam Serrano, and I will be teaching Herpetology, which is the study of reptiles and amphibians. During my 30+ years of experience, I have worked with a variety of species including Burmese Pythons, Ball Pythons, King Snakes, Corn Snakes, Red-eared Turtles, Chameleons, Tree Frogs, Toads, Salamanders and many more. In 2009, I began a wonderful journey of becoming a Ball Python breeder and have loved every minute since,

including creating some one-of-a-kind animals that do not exist anywhere else in the world.

During my time as a breeder, I began visiting schools to do reptile education presentations. I developed a passion for not only working with these incredible gentle animals, but also for educating others about them. I take part in several reptile conventions every year where I have the opportunity to not only sell my animals but also educate the public about them, which is what I enjoy doing the most. It is with great pleasure that I will have the opportunity to teach Herpetology, and will be doing so in a very interactive manner; the children will have opportunities to see incredible animals up close in person, as well as handle them if they choose to do so. I look forward to creating a fun and safe environment where children can learn and find a new appreciation/understanding for these amazing animals.
