Improvisation is a wonderful way to explore acting, comedy, public speaking, comedic timing and above all - having fun! In this class we will explore the art of improv in a very creative and exciting way. We will play theater games, do vocal and physical warm ups, and learn how to create funny bold characters! More specific examples include: monologue work, sketch writing exercises, comedy freeze tag, and special audition games that I invented myself! Students will learn how to use their voice and acting skills to find their inner funny. We will also learn from the greats and watch funny videos for inspiration and education. Who knows we might even work with some puppets and do mime work! It will be a blast.
