Music Geography

This 55-minute class takes children around the world to a new destination each week. The class is divided into a dozen fun activities, each lasting about 3-5 minutes to ensure these young learners stay focused and interested while they learn about countries music, dance and culture.

According to him, Hermes wears the shoes, Pandora’s the reason he’s miserable, and Amazons are the tall warrior women who will soon be arriving to arrest you for speaking nonsense. Don’t be that person!

Psychology Semester 1 (A-G*)

This Psychology class is the FIRST semester of a year-long course that is equivalent to a one semester introductory college course in psychology. This course is designed to meet the “G” requirement in the A-G course requirements. Please check with your charter school or other to ensure that they will accept this.

Psychology is a comprehensive study of the human mind and cognitive processes. Students will examine the structures of the brain and their involvement in human action and social interaction. The class will provide a rigorous examination of cognitive development, perception, comprehension, consciousness, and learning. The course will also involve an analysis of human emotion, psychological disorders and their treatments. This class offers an enlightening journey through the depths of the human mind.
