Education: Masters Degree, KU Leuven University Belgium (1989) Biochemical Engineering 2015 - Present (United States) High School Chemistry Tutor Most of my students reside in Rancho Cucamonga. I've developed my own general tutoring plan which is tailored to the student's level and learning style. Besides teaching the material, plenty of time is spent on practice problems and ensuring proper understanding of the material. 2001-2015 (United States) As a work-from-home parent, I was actively involved in my three children's education. Besides helping them with understanding and implementing their own learning style, I provided individual tutoring to each of my children for the subjects they needed assistance with. Two of my children have moved on to college for the subjects they needed assistance with. Two of my children have moved on to college and they still apply the learning techniques that we established together when they were kids. They have grown into responsible adults with excellent learning and studying habits resulting in excellent grades. 1989 - 2001 (Belgium and Singapore) After graduating as a Biochemical Engineer in Belgium, I was employed as an Environmental Consultant/Trainer. In this capacity, I developed environmental and safety plans for different companies and industries. I provided basic and refresher training for employees and management on a regular basis.
